Day 1: Chiang Rai or Chiang Mai arrival (Meals: N/A)
Upon arrive at Chiang Rai or Chiang Mai airport, you will be picked up and get transfer to your hotel in the Golden Triangle where offers a great panorama view overlooking Mekong River and 3 countries of Thailand, Laos, Myanmar (Burmar).

Day 2: Free to explore the Golden Triangle (Meals: Breakfast)
Today you are free to discover the surroundings by yourselves or just relax at your hotel. There are a plenty of excursions that might suit your interests such as: Bird Watching, Hall Of Opium, Silk farm, Doi Tung Royal garden, Burmese border, Hot Spring, etc.

Day 3: Transfer to Chiang Khong – Cross border to Huay Xai – Pakbeng (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, transfer to Thai immigration in Chiang Khong and across the Mekong to Laos immigration at Ban Houei Sai. From 08.30AM, a cruise’s guide will welcome you in front of the Lao immigration office. After the VISA registration, take the tuk tuk to the slow boat pier and embark your private Shompoo boat.
During the cruise, the boat will take its first stop in Pak Tha, to get signed the boat documents. Lunch is served onboard. We stop then a second time for visiting a Kamu village along the Mekong River. The boat will arrive at Pakbeng before the night. Enjoy gala dinner at Pakbeng Lodge.

Day 4: Pakbeng – Pak Ou Caves – Luang Prabang (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
In the early morning at 6.30AM, you can take part in a short activity of Pakbeng lodge for a half of hour riding an elephant around the town.
At 8:30am, the boat leaves Pakbeng. On the way, one lunch served on board and 2 stops: visit first Pak Ou Caves (Tham Ting) and its thousands of Buddha images, go then to Ban Xang Hai, a lao lao whiskey village.
Arrive in Luang Prabang boat pier at Ban Don Mai around 4:30pm, a guide and driver of Laos Tours Expert will pick you up and transfer to La Residence Phou Vao for check in. At your own leisure in the evening.

Day 5: Luang Prabang city tour (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast at your hotel, we will visit the former king’s palace, which is now a Royal Palace Museum. Many items nicely displayed include rare furniture, traditional costumes and arts, jewelry, ornaments as well as working tools and utensils of the early part of the 20th century. Continuing on to Wat Mai, a temple renowned for its golden bas-reliefs. Then we embark on a tour of this enthralling town to visit Wat Xieng Thong – the Golden City monastery, which dates back to the 16th century and is considered to be the finest in Laos. Furthermore, we visit Wat Visoun which entirely rebuilt after its destruction in 1887 by the invading Black Flags from southern China. In the courtyard of Wat Visoun stands the Watermelon Stupa, which is shaped like the fruit it takes its name from. Visit the nearby Wat Aham before continuing to the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre for insight in to the countries various ethnic groups and traditional crafts.
Later that day, we adjourn to the Phousi Holy Hill to enjoy the marvelous panoramic views of the town at sunset.
Enjoy your walking free street through the bustling Hill tribe Market for traditional textiles and handicrafts made by the hill tribes in the evening.

Day 6: Luang Prabang – Kuang Si Waterfalls (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast we take a stroll on the Phousi Market where you see many local products such as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weavings.
Enjoy a short drive through the Luang Prabang countryside to Kuang Si Waterfalls. You will have a chance to make the most of beautiful landscapes of rice fields, hills, and small villages. After passing the entrance gate, you will visit the Bear Rescue Center where now cares for 23 bears. Most of the bears arrive at the rescue centre as very young cubs having been confiscated by the Lao Government from illegal poaching and trading. It is likely that they would otherwise have been destined for a life of torture in a “bile farm” outside of Laos.
Continue your steps up to the chain of falls to relax and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. Sitting under the shade of big trees and swimming or jumping up and down in the pools can be relaxing and enjoyable. The water tumbles down a large drop and cascades gently in to several cool, clear pools where you can enjoy a refreshing swim.

Day 7: Luang Prabang – Xieng Khouang (Meals: Breakfast)
Today we take the road overland through beautiful natural scenery to Xieng Khouang, which was devastated by American bombing between 1964-1973. This is long drive (approximately 7 – 8 hours) with spectacular view of Lao rain forest and the mountain ranges. Along the way we will stop for photo opportunities and visit various hill tribe villages. Upon arrival, check in your hotel and relax.

Day 8: Xieng Khouang – Plain of Jars – fly to Vientiane (Meals: Breakfast)
After breakfast at hotel, we drive over the dirt road to explore the mysterious archeological wonderland: the Plain of Jars. Explore Site 1 of the ancient and mysterious Plain of Jars: an enchanting archeological site, where hundreds of large stone jars lie scattered about the plateau. Then we discover site 2 and site 3 in the different location and the journey to reach them offers glimpse of some typical Hmong local villages. Spend a short time to visit Russian Tank before having lunch on your own.
Drive back to the town in the late afternoon and catch your short flight to Vientiane – the country’s charming capital.

Day 9:Vientiane city tour (Meals: Breakfast)
Start your day by visiting Wat Sisaket – the oldest surviving monastery in Vientiane with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image.
Next stop is Patuxai Monument (or also called Anusawali by Laotian) – the Arc De Triomphe of Laos, where you can climb up on the roof for fantastic panoramic views over the city. Then we move to the most important national monument in Laos and a national symbol – Pha That Luang, and Wat Si Muang – the most popular and venerated temple in Vientiane.

Day 10: Vientiane – Departure (Meals: Breakfast)
Enjoy your last minute shopping time in the morning in the biggest market in Laos – Talat Sao (Morning Market). You can buy some souvenirs such as silk and silver jewellery and get insight into daily life of the people of Vientiane.
Catch your flight back home in the late morning or afternoon.
